{"id":2718,"date":"2012-05-08T09:39:38","date_gmt":"2012-05-08T14:39:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/realfoodhouston.com\/?p=2718"},"modified":"2012-05-08T11:05:31","modified_gmt":"2012-05-08T16:05:31","slug":"revisit-moroccan-bowl-at-the-menil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/2012\/05\/08\/revisit-moroccan-bowl-at-the-menil\/","title":{"rendered":"Revisit &#8211; Moroccan Bowl at the Menil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Moroccan-Bowl.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2719\" title=\"Moroccan Bowl\" src=\"http:\/\/realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Moroccan-Bowl-300x249.jpg\" alt=\"Moroccan Bowl\" width=\"300\" height=\"249\" \/><\/a>I was really happy that I could revisit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barebowlskitchen.com\/bbk.html\" target=\"_blank\">Bare Bowls Kitchen<\/a> food truck.\u00a0 They often park at the <a href=\"http:\/\/menil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Menil<\/a> on Thursdays, so my daughter, the food truck foodie, and I both got ourselves a Moroccan bowl and a drink.\u00a0 I had Very Berry <a href=\"http:\/\/kickinkombucha.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kickin&#8217; Kombucha<\/a> with my Moroccan bowl\u00a0and my daughter had the Bare Bowls special green tea with fresh strawberries.\u00a0 This bowl was just as good as the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/realfoodhouston.com\/2012\/03\/04\/real-food-in-houston-bare-bowls-kitchen-food-truck\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lamb Bowl<\/a> I had in April at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wabashfeed.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Wabash Antiques &amp; Feed Store<\/a>.\u00a0 This one\u00a0was on a bed of two kinds of local organic rice, basmati and brown,\u00a0covered with chunks of tender,\u00a0juicy grassfed beef and a mix of carrots, kale, golden raisins, red bell peppers, and a special\u00a0highlight&#8211;crunchy pumpkin seeds.\u00a0 The flavorful\u00a0spices and touch of coarse salt\u00a0sure did enhance the flavors.
