Grassfed beef ribeye, green beans, and baked potato"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Grassfed-ribeye-green-beans-and-baked-potato.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-3106\" title=\"Grassfed ribeye steak green beans and baked potato\" src=\"http:\/\/realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Grassfed-ribeye-green-beans-and-baked-potato-1024x745.jpg\" alt=\"Grassfed ribeye steak green beans and baked potato\" width=\"640\" height=\"465\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Grassfed-ribeye-green-beans-and-baked-potato-1024x745.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Grassfed-ribeye-green-beans-and-baked-potato-300x218.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Grassfed-ribeye-green-beans-and-baked-potato.jpg 1055w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a>There&#8217;s nothing better than grassfed beef, and this one is extra special&#8211;ribeye steak, cooked rare to preserve more nutrients.\u00a0 We ate this beef with local farmers market green beans and organic baked potatoes (not local though).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>What you need:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Beef ribeye steaks, preferably grassfed<br \/>\nGreen beans<br \/>\nPotatoes<br \/>\nButter<br \/>\nSea salt (I use Celtic Sea Salt)<br \/>\nOrganic black pepper<\/p>\n<p><em>Potato toppings (any or all):<\/em><br \/>\nSour cream, preferably raw<br \/>\nButter<br \/>\nChives, organic<br \/>\nSea Salt<br \/>\nBlack pepper<br \/>\nGrated cheese (we didn&#8217;t use cheese this time, but we often do)<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Spread the steaks with room temperature butter and sprinkle with sea salt (Celtic Sea Salt) and freshly ground organic black pepper.\u00a0 The steaks can be broiled in the oven or grilled over charcoal or gas outside.\u00a0 Turn after a few minutes on the first side and spread with more butter, add salt and pepper.\u00a0 We don&#8217;t cook steaks very long because we like ours rare&#8211;for the taste and to preserve the nutrients that over cooking destroys.\u00a0 These steaks were large, so we cut them into serving size pieces for eating.<\/p>\n<p>For the green beans: wash and snap off ends.\u00a0 Add about a half cup of filtered water to the pot with the green beans, bring to a boil, then turn down to simmer for about 5 minutes or until tender (test with a fork).\u00a0 Drain and season with butter and sea salt.<\/p>\n<p>Potatoes: scrub well and prick with a fork.\u00a0 Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about one hour until done.\u00a0 Test by squeezing gently with a paper towel using an oven glove.\u00a0 Split open and serve with any or all of your favorite toppings, such as raw sour cream, butter, organic chives, salt, pepper, grated cheese.<\/p>\n<p>Eat and enjoy!\u00a0 Another super simple, super easy, and super delicious meal!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s nothing better than grassfed beef, and this one is extra special&#8211;ribeye steak, cooked rare to preserve more nutrients.\u00a0 We ate this beef with local farmers market green beans and organic baked potatoes (not local though).
