Salmon patties with fresh dill sauce, broccoli and tomatoes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Salmon-patties-with-dill-sauce.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-3152\" title=\"Salmon patties with dill sauce\" src=\"http:\/\/realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Salmon-patties-with-dill-sauce-1024x719.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"449\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Salmon-patties-with-dill-sauce-1024x719.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Salmon-patties-with-dill-sauce-300x211.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Salmon-patties-with-dill-sauce-1080x758.jpg 1080w, http:\/\/www.realfoodhouston.com\/wp-files\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Salmon-patties-with-dill-sauce.jpg 1094w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a>Here&#8217;s another easy, quick meal that&#8217;s super de-lish and nutritious too.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Salmon Patties<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>1 can, 12-15 oz, red salmon<br \/>\n2 eggs, preferably from pastured chickens<br \/>\nJuice of 1\/2 organic lemon<br \/>\n2 slices bread (I used <em>Nourishing Traditions<\/em> buttermilk soaked bread), toasted and crumbled&#8211;you may substitute 1\/4 cup almond or coconut flour for gluten-free<br \/>\nDash of naturally fermented soy sauce<br \/>\nButter for cooking<\/p>\n<p>How to make the salmon patties:<\/p>\n<p>Drain salmon and break up with a fork.\u00a0 Mix in eggs, lemon juice, soy sauce, and bread crumbs.\u00a0 Shape into patties and cook in butter over medium heat until brown on both sides.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong> Dill Sauce<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>8 ounces sour cream (I used local raw sour cream)<br \/>\n4 tablespoons snipped fresh dill, locally grown or organic<br \/>\n1 teaspoon sea Salt (Celtic Sea Salt)<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon freshly ground organic black pepper<br \/>\nJuice of 1\/2 organic lemon<\/p>\n<p>Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and chill before serving.\u00a0 I just love this dill sauce, and it&#8217;s so easy to make!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Veggies<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Bring broccoli florets (organic) and about a half cup of water to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and cook for about 5 minutes, until fork-tender.\u00a0 Drain and season with butter and sea salt.<\/p>\n<p>Now this is the really easy one:\u00a0 Slice the fresh tomatoes. Serve!<\/p>\n<p>Of course, for me, the hardest part of this meal is finding the local, fresh tomatoes.
