The FDA said the milk from a June 14 sample was negative for Campylobacter.” Note that this is not the FDA releasing the information, and, according to FDA spokesperson Stephanie Yao, the FDA is “continuing its investigation to pinpoint where the bacteria formed. It could have been at the dairy or in the transportation of the milk.” Read more from Heraldonline . . .

David Gumpert in a recent post on The Complete Patient discusses the politics behind the FDA’s press release about a possible outbreak of campylobacter from raw milk in North Carolina. He points out that the FDA used an expensive public relations … Continue reading →

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[10,14,16,6,19
27,26,25,28,24,29
post-558","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-access-to-good-food","category-access-to-real-food","category-food-freedom","category-raw-milk","category-real-food","tag-fda","tag-food-freedom-2","tag-food-rights-2","tag-ftcldf","tag-raw-milk-2","tag-wapf
["GET
