\"\"<\/a>Have you noticed that some YouTube channels and Facebook videos are being heavily censored?\u00a0 Have you noticed that many of them have a common subject–a potential treatment for the current coronavirus\/COVID19 illness? There is also a complete denial of benefit from the treatment in the mainstream media.<\/p>\n

CORONAVIRUS: THE FRONTLINE PUSHBACK<\/a>, the HighWire video with Del Bigtree which played on August 6, 2020, explains the probable motivation behind the censorship.<\/p>\n

The FDA has published a document called Emergency Use Authorization of Medical Products and Related Authorities Guidance for Industry and Other Stakeholders<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

This statement appears on page 8:<\/p>\n

d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 No Alternatives<\/em><\/p>\n

For FDA to issue an EUA <\/em>[Emergency Use Authorization], there must be no adequate, approved, and available alternative to the candidate product for diagnosing, preventing, or treating the disease or condition. A potential alternative product may be considered \u201cunavailable\u201d if there are insufficient supplies of the approved alternative to fully meet the emergency need. A potential alternative product may be considered \u201cinadequate\u201d if, for example, there are contraindicating data for special circumstances or populations (e.g., children, immunocompromised individuals with a drug allergy), if a dosage form of an approved product is inappropriate for use in a special population (e.g., a tablet for individuals who cannot swallow pills), or if the agent is or may be resistant to approved and available alternative products.<\/em><\/p>\n

The subjects being censored are often potentially effective alternative treatments.\u00a0 Posts and videos that mention hydroxychloroquine are being removed from Facebook and YouTube.\u00a0 Among those which have been removed are Del Bigtree’s HighWire episodes that mention HCQ, the America’s Frontline Doctors Press Conference<\/a>, Green Med Info, and even videos that discuss homeopathic remedies.<\/p>\n

I now better understand why certain subjects are being censored.<\/p>\n
