How do you define real food. . . unprocessed?  organic?   local?  natural?  It’s all of that, and more.  I promote Real Food and food and health freedom, and regenerative agriculture for the Houston area and beyond.  My nutrition and health views follow the principles of The Weston A. Price Foundation.  I eat local farmers’ market produce and local meat from pastured animals, pastured chickens and eggs, and, of course, raw cow milk, raw cream, and fermented foods like yogurt, kefir, and sauerkraut.

  1. I look forward to seeing a dialog here about healthy eating in Houston. Thanks to the farmers’ markets and Whole Foods we have access to a great variety of fresh raw organic produce and meats. I would like to know any suggestions fellow bloggers have as to where such foods are available in restaurants in the Houston area. We patronize Ta’fia and Ruggles Green. Are there others? Thank you!
