Fresh wild-caught snapper at Harvest Organic Grille–deelicious! — 6 Comments

  1. This place was horrible, the food was over cooked, and burnt. They have bugs all over the place, I had tiny flies in my drink. I tried talking to our waiter about the flies and bad food, but they were not helpful at all, I would say this places would be 0 on a scale 1 to 10 and 10 being the best. The “bread” that they bring you is like cardboard, it has no taste. Where is this sour dough bread I hear about? Then out of now where, this guy walks up to our table, brings us fruits which my wife is allergic to fruits, we could not understand what he was saying. He was very sweaty, stunk like cigarettes and alcohol. I have never seen something like this before nor do I want to again. They have ruined a great concept with their stupidity of restaurant knowledge.

    • I’m sorry you had such a bad experience. Your experience was the opposite of mine. This post was based on a visit to the Fountainview location. Since then I have visited the Westheimer location twice. During all three of my visits the food was very well prepared and the service was excellent. The ribeye was perfectly cooked, the snapper was still moist and delicious, and the seasonings were appropriate. We did not try the bread since we don’t normally eat it. We were never served anything we didn’t order. The Sunday brunch buffets at the Westheimer location were especially good–lots of choices, including lamb chops, ribeye, chicken, tender fish, vegetables, soups, omelets, and much more. Everything we tried was appropriately cooked and well seasoned. I have not been compensated in any way for this or any of my restaurant reviews.
